Ryan DeMatteo
Ryan opened his first business at 23-years-old after graduating with a Business Communications B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany. Needless to say, he truly has a passion for small businesses as he knows first-hand what it is like to own them. He finds value in the creative aspect of small business accounting that directly affects decisions, actions, and company flow.
He has been in the accounting industry for the past 20 years, diversifying his knowledge by working with both small businesses and large clients, such as the San Francisco Marathon.
Ryan helps start-ups build their business plan in order to secure funding, manages all aspects of payroll, oversees the books of high wealth individuals, works with non-profits, brick and mortar, and tech clients.
He has sat as the Treasurer of the Board for the Child Therapy Institute of Marin for the past 5 years.
When Ryan isn’t working financial magic, he can be found practicing brazilian jiu jitsu, studying history and poetry, or hiking in West Marin.
Ron DeMatteo
Ron graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a B.S. degree in Public Accounting, accompanied by a minor in Business Administration. He has a passion for helping start-up companies navigate the world of business, which is reflected through his success as a small business accountant.
His career began at a Fortune 100 company where he sharpened his accountancy skills and further developed as a professional. After accumulating the experience and success needed, Ron temporarily switched gears and fell into the Information Systems industry, working with application programming and website development.
Ron demonstrated his accounting expertise by serving as the Treasurer of his local church from 2006 to 2020, a role where he utilized his number-crunching skills for the good of the community.
